We are thrilled to announce our latest publication in Nature Scientific Reports, sharing the pre-clinical evidence behind SentryX’s clinical-stage implantable anesthetic platform.

The goal of a local anesthetic is simple: keep the drug local for a long time, while keeping the systemic exposure well within the safety limits.

This study confirms that balance: our hydrogel maintained strong and sustained local release, while systemic exposure was about one-third of that seen with conventional injections, even at higher doses. Importantly, no safety issues or tissue reactions were observed.

Together, these results clearly demonstrate that our sustained-release hydrogel delivered prolonged, safe, and effective local anesthesia, while keeping systemic exposure reassuringly low.
