Our team is growing

Our story began in 2017 when founders Jorrit Jan Verlaan and Bas Oosterman joined forces and came up with the idea to wanting to radically change the approach to treat pain after musculoskeletal surgery. The many drawbacks of the systemic, opioid-based pain treatments used today led to idea to seek for more local strategies to treat the acute and intense pain after heavy surgery. Soon after these initial conversations and business planning, the team began to grow, with scientists from several disciplines. Today we have a core team consisting of approximately 25 professionals. We also like to tap into specific expertise of people outside of our company and have an inner circle of professionals that we hire on a contractor base.
