May 2025 - Two Peer-Reviewed Publications in One Week

We’re excited to share that two of our scientific studies, each exploring different aspects of our non-opioid implantable anesthetics for postoperative pain relief in spine surgery, were published ahead of print:

In Regional Anesthesia & Pain Medicine, first-in-human safety results demonstrated a 13x systemic safety margin with no serious adverse events linked to our implantable anesthetics.1

In the preceding paper in the International Journal of Pharmaceutics, our preclinical sheep study showed sustained high local concentrations of bupivacaine at the surgical site, while systemic levels remained several orders of magnitute lower, supporting a strong and favorable risk-benefit profile.2

Together, these studies highlight our commitment to evidence-based innovation, developing solutions that are not only novel, but also grounded in rigorous science and designed to meet real clinical needs.
